Fans got a big surprise on this week’s episode of WWE Raw. After 199 days, Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio returned. Furthermore, he returned to teach his son and current Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio a lesson. It appears the company is rekindling the rivalry between the two. The possibility of a championship match between Rey and Dominik has now increased significantly.

Father teach son a lesson

Dominik Mysterio praised himself in his segment, saying he’s the king of Luchadors. Dominik recently retained his title on Saturday Night’s Main Event by defeating Penta and Rusev. Dom also spoke about this. Rey Mysterio then entered. He had been out of action in April due to an injury. Rey told Dominik that he was very surprised by his return.

Rey Mysterio told his son that he was not the king of Luchadores and that he objected to this. Rey accused Dom of disrespecting everyone. Dominik claimed that he was better than Eddie Guerrero. Rey said that he would not tolerate any disrespect to Lucha Libre. Dom said that his father was jealous of him. He also accused his father of stealing his mustache.

Dominik Mysterio left no stone unturned in insulting his father. Dom stated that he had performed better than Rey so far. Rey told Dom that he would never become the King of the Luchadors. Rey also stated that this would not happen as long as he was around. Dominik then attempted to attack Rey but failed. Rey delivered a powerful 619 to Dom.
