Sarfaraz Khan has been captivating fans not only with his on-field performances but also off-field performances. The Mumbai batsman recently shared a brief but emotional moment from his personal life on social media. Without revealing much, Sarfaraz uploaded a glimpse of a “special gift,” which immediately sparked curiosity among fans and followers.

A special gift from Shubman Gill

During the recent ODI series against New Zealand, Gill had gifted Sarfaraz an expensive G-Shock watch as a token of appreciation. Sarfaraz, who was not part of the ODI team, thanked the Indian captain on Instagram and expressed his gratitude for this unexpected yet wonderful gesture. Although Gill did not make any public comment, this gesture reflects the sense of camaraderie and mutual respect between the players, whether they are in the playing XI or not.

Sarfaraz last played for India in November 2024 and despite being out of the national team since then, his performances have remained consistently strong. In the ongoing Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26 season, the 28-year-old has scored 303 runs in six matches at an impressive average of 75.75, including a top score of 157.
