Blistering century for Mitchell Marsh
Mitchell Marsh and Finn Allen opened the innings for the Perth Scorchers. Finn failed to play a big innings, getting out for just 16 runs. Cooper Connolly (4) also failed to perform well. The team seemed to be in trouble. Aaron Hardy and Mitchell Marsh then played strong innings.
They shared a 164-run partnership and played a crucial role in helping the team reach a big total. Marsh scored 102 runs in 58 balls, including 11 fours and five sixes. Hardy, meanwhile, played an explosive innings, scoring 94 runs in 43 balls, including nine fours and five sixes.

With his impressive century, Mitchell Marsh also reached 2,000 runs in the Big Bash League. He has played all his BBL matches for the Perth Scorchers, scoring a total of 2,031 runs in 76 matches. He has scored two centuries and 12 half-centuries in the BBL so far.
Mitchell Marsh has been struggling with poor form for some time, and runs have become difficult to score. But now he has found his form back ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup.
