After winning the ODI series, team India will now play a five-match T20I series against the African team. Team India will try to find the right team combination in this series ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup.

India vs South Africa T20 series important details

The squads for both teams for the T20 series have already been announced. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the Indian team, while Aiden Markram will captain the African team. Both teams possess several star players who can change the course of a match in just a few balls and are renowned masters of T20 cricket.

The first T20 match between India and South Africa will be played on December 9th at the Cuttack ground. The second T20 match will be played in New Chandigarh on December 11th, and the third in Dharamsala on December 14th. The fourth match will be played in Lucknow on December 17th, and the final match of the series will be played on December 19th at the Narendra Modi Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. All matches will be played starting at 7:00 PM IST, with the toss taking place half an hour beforehand.
