New Delhi: The final group stage match of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 between India and New Zealand is underway at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. However, the Indian batting maestro couldn’t make it a memorable one with the bat, as he was dismissed after scoring just 11 runs. His dismissal came courtesy of a stunning catch by Glenn Phillips, one of the best fielders in world cricket.

India suffered their third blow at 30 runs when Matt Henry bowled the fourth delivery of the seventh over to Kohli. The Indian batter attempted a shot towards the off-side, but the ball traveled towards the point region. Despite the ball being slightly away from him, Glenn Phillips leaped into the air and grabbed it with one hand, pulling off an extraordinary catch.

A viral screenshot captured the moment Anushka held her head in disbelief, reflecting her disappointment at Kohli’s early dismissal. She had traveled to Dubai to witness her husband’s milestone match, but unfortunately, his innings was cut short.

Before Kohli’s dismissal, Indian captain Rohit Sharma was out for 15 runs, while Shubman Gill managed just 2 runs. Matt Henry took Gill’s wicket as well, while Kyle Jamieson dismissed Rohit Sharma, leaving India in a difficult position early in the match.
