The Pakistan Cricket Board is unhappy with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for not including its captain Salman Ali Agha’s picture in the promotional poster issued for the sale of tickets for next year’s T20 World Cup. is is reported the issue has been raised with the ICC as the promotional poster has pictures of only five captains: Suryakumar Yadav (India), Aiden Markram (South Africa), Mitchell Marsh (Australia), Dasun Shanaka (Sri Lanka) and Harry Brook (England).

“We faced a similar problem during the Asia Cup a few months ago when the broadcasters started their promotional campaign without our captain’s picture,” media reports said.
“This time too we are facing a similar situation as the ICC has not put our captain’s picture in the promotional posters released for ticket sales,” reports explains. It is also said that even though Pakistan is not among the top five teams in the ICC T20 rankings, it has a rich history and is one of the most attention-grabbing teams in the World Cup.

He said that the PCB is confident that the ICC will definitely include the Pakistani captain in promotional posters and campaigns. The sale of tickets for the T20 World Cup 2026 started on Thursday with prices starting as low as Rs 100 or 1000 Sri Lankan rupees in the first phase for some venues. India and Sri Lanka are jointly hosting the tournament from February 7 to March 8. The International Cricket Council announced the sale of tickets for the 10th edition of the T20 World Cup on its platform in which the 20-team tournament will be played across eight venues.
Ahmedabad, Chennai, New Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata will be the host cities for the World Cup in India, while Colombo (two venues) and Kandy will be the two venues in Sri Lanka. Defending champions India will take on the United States in one of three matches on the opening day of the tournament.
