GT vs RR Playing 11 Update: Rajasthan Royals, who look strong after Sanju Samson’s return as captain, will play their next match against Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad. Winning this match won’t be easy for Rajasthan, as Gujarat is very strong at their home ground. However, Gujarat also cannot afford to take Rajasthan lightly.
Both teams are coming into this match after winning their previous games. Rajasthan defeated Punjab Kings at their home ground, while Gujarat won against Sunrisers Hyderabad at theirs. Both teams are full of confidence, but now the big challenge for both captains is to choose their best playing XI.
Will Rajasthan Make Changes?
Rajasthan Royals looked strong in their last match with both batting and bowling performing well. Yashasvi Jaiswal and captain Sanju Samson gave the team a fast start. Riyan Parag, who came in at number three, played a solid innings and scored an unbeaten 43 runs. Nitish Rana failed to score in the last match, but he had hit a half-century in the match before that. So, all three are expected to be in the playing XI.
Shimron Hetmyer and Dhruv Jurel are doing the job of finishers and the team will not leave them out.
Sanju Samson might make one change in bowling. Fast bowler Akash Madhwal, who played well for Mumbai Indians last season, has not got a chance yet. He may replace Yudhveer Singh, who was expensive in the last match—giving 20 runs in 2 overs without taking a wicket.
Jofra Archer, Sandeep Sharma, Wanindu Hasaranga, and Maheesh Theekshana are likely to continue.
Gujarat Titans’ Possible Change
This match is important for the Gujarat Titans as they are playing at home and will not want to lose. In the last match, Shubman Gill and Washington Sundar played very well. Gill scored 61 runs while Sundar, playing his first match for Gujarat, scored 49 runs after being sent up the order.
Sherfane Rutherford also played powerful innings in the end and helped Gujarat win the match.
Gujarat might make one change in bowling. Ishant Sharma hasn’t performed well and could be replaced by left-arm fast bowler Kulwant Khejroliya.
