Silver Price Falls: A significant drop is being observed in gold and silver prices. Over the past two days, prices for both metals have been declining. In the domestic market, silver prices have fallen and are currently trading at around ₹2.26 lakh per kilogram. Silver Price Falls (MCX)

As of 10:22 AM on September 29, 2026, silver futures on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) had fallen by 1.04% to ₹225,075 per kilogram. Given that it closed at ₹227,442 per kilogram in the previous session, silver has become cheaper by ₹2,367 compared to recent levels.

How much has silver dropped from its all-time high?
According to MCX data, gold crossed the record mark of ₹193,096 on January 29 and has since become cheaper by ₹47,061. Meanwhile, the all-time high for MCX silver is ₹420,048, and it has dropped by ₹195,006 from that peak.

How much have prices fallen in the international market? In the international market, specifically on Comex, both gold and silver prices have seen a significant drop. According to Comex data, as of 9:15 AM, the price of gold fell by 0.05% to reach $4,166.40 per ounce. Meanwhile, silver prices declined by 1.13%, trading at $61.020 per ounce.
