Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6: Royal Enfield has introduced a new ‘Parachute White’ colour for its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6. This is the third colour option to join the lineup, alongside the existing ‘Flea Green’ and ‘Storm Black’. The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 will now be available in the new Parachute White shade, featuring a warm white body complemented by black and blue accents. Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Design

The design of the Flying Flea C6 goes beyond that of a typical modern electric motorcycle. Royal Enfield has incorporated design cues from its original lightweight Flying Flea motorcycle, which dates back to the 1940s.

It features elements such as an exposed forged-aluminium exoskeleton, a finned magnesium battery enclosure, a circular display, and distinctive girder front suspension. The frame is built using a weld-free construction method, while the compact rear section keeps the bodywork minimal.

3.5-inch TFT Display and Smart Features

The cockpit of the Flying Flea C6 is also thoroughly modern. It features a centrally mounted 3.5-inch circular color TFT touchscreen running on the Flying Flea’s ‘Fleaware OS’. While its design is reminiscent of a traditional round motorcycle display, it is packed with connected technology.

The C6 offers features such as phone-as-key functionality, navigation, app connectivity, cruise control, an electronic handlebar lock, remote tip-over alerts, and location sharing.

Additionally, it includes features like bi-directional crawl mode and auto-hold. The storage compartment offers 27W USB-C charging and 15W Qi-compatible wireless charging, making it convenient to charge your smartphone on the go.

Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 Range and Speed

In terms of performance, the Flying Flea C6 is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous motor. This motor generates a peak power of 15.4 kW and 60 Nm of torque. The C6 has a claimed top speed of 115 kmph, while its 3.91 kWh lithium-ion battery offers a claimed IDC range of 154 km. The battery pack uses 224 laser-welded NCA cells and is housed in a magnesium casing.

Advanced Suspension and Braking Setup

Royal Enfield has also paid special attention to the C6’s hardware. The front features a girder-linkage hydraulic twin suspension setup offering 100 mm of travel. At the rear, there is a direct-acting monoshock equipped with an internal floating piston, providing 110 mm of travel.

For braking, the bike is equipped with a 260 mm disc at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear. A dual-channel ABS system with three sensitivity settings provides safety and electronic assistance.
