It is expected to feature a large display and a MediaTek Dimensity chipset. Now, the tipster has provided information about its likely launch timeframe via a new post on Weibo.
Redmi Turbo 6 Max Specifications (Anticipated)
Tipster ‘Digital Chat Station’ has shared details about the launch timeline and key specifications of the upcoming Redmi smartphone in a new Weibo post. While the post does not explicitly name the device, leaked information and comments suggest it could be the Redmi Turbo 6 Max.
This ‘performance-oriented smartphone’ is expected to launch in January next year. It is rumoured to feature a 7-inch flat display with 2K resolution. Although details about the exact processor have not yet surfaced, it is expected to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9000-series chipset. There are also claims that the phone might pack a massive 10,000mAh battery. These early leaks indicate that the Redmi Turbo 6 Max will offer significant upgrades compared to the Redmi Turbo 5 Max.
The Redmi Turbo 6 Max is expected to compete with the OnePlus Turbo 7. The OnePlus device is anticipated to feature a Snapdragon 8-series chipset. Globally, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max could be rebranded as the Poco X9 Pro Max.

The Redmi Turbo 5 Max was launched in January of last year, with a starting price of CNY 2,499 (approximately ₹33,000) for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. It features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display and is powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500S chipset. The smartphone offers up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage. It comes with IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for protection against dust and water.
For photography, the Redmi Turbo 5 Max sports a dual-rear-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. It also includes a 20-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. Additionally, the device is equipped with a 9,000mAh battery and supports 100W wired fast charging and 27W wired reverse charging.
