The budget smartphone segment is buzzing with the appearance of a new device from Xiaomi. Following the successful launch of the Redmi A3, a new model, tentatively called the Redmi A3X, has been spotted on various certification websites, hinting at an imminent release. This article breaks down everything we know about this potential new entry-level champion.
A Familiar Design with Potential Upgrades
Based on leaks and certifications, the Redmi A3X is expected to share a very similar design language with the standard Redmi A3. This includes a sleek, premium-looking design that belies its budget price tag, featuring a glass-like rear panel and a distinctive circular camera module.
The key upgrade, and the primary differentiator, is rumored to be under the hood. While the Redmi A3 runs on a MediaTek Helio G36 chipset, the A3X is strongly speculated to be powered by a Unisoc T603 processor. This shift could position the A3X to compete even more aggressively in specific markets, offering a slightly different performance profile.
