Realme 17 Pro+: If you are a Realme customer, you’ll have good news. The company is working on another new smartphone, the Realme 17 Pro+. While leaks regarding the Realme 17 Pro+ surfaced recently, rumours about the device have now picked up again. New information from tipster ‘Digital Chat Station’ (DCS) has revealed details about the display and camera setup. Let’s take a look at the expected features of the Realme 17 Pro+.
Realme 17 Pro+ key details surface
DCS has shared information about an upcoming smartphone in Realme’s numbered series. Regarding the Realme 17 Pro+, leaks suggest the phone will feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a high refresh rate, although DCS did not specify the exact refresh rate.
The leak also mentions a triple-camera setup, which may include a 200-megapixel main sensor. It is rumoured to be accompanied by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. If previous reports are accurate, the periscope camera might use Samsung’s JN5 sensor and offer 3.5x optical zoom, while the main camera could feature Samsung’s HP5 sensor.
Details regarding the chipset and battery capacity remain unknown. For context, the Realme 16 Pro+ is expected to house a 7,000mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging. The Realme 17 Pro+ might retain a similar capacity or even exceed it, especially given that some Realme 16-series models could be equipped with batteries as large as 8,000mAh. More details regarding the phone’s remaining specifications are expected to surface in future leaks.
Currently, no information is available on the launch timeframe for the Realme 17 Pro+. A tipster claims that this device will be exclusive to international markets, meaning it will not be released in China. Realme phones are highly popular in the market.
