Rajasthan CET: The Rajasthan government is making a major change in recruitment for 10th-grade students. In the coming years, passing the Common Eligibility Test (CET) will be mandatory for 10th-grade students seeking government recruitment. The Rajasthan government is working on a plan to conduct a separate 10th-grade CET. Preparations are underway to bring several 10th-grade qualification-required positions, including forest guards, lab assistants, excise constables, and peons, under the CET framework. Candidates applying for these positions will now be required to pass only the CET exam, rather than multiple exams.

After the implementation of the CET, separate written examinations for these positions will be eliminated. A single CET score will be used to apply for 10th-grade-level positions in various departments. According to reports, the government may soon issue detailed guidelines on the 10th-grade CET and related recruitment processes.

Benefits of the Rajasthan CET Exam

Taking the Common Eligibility Test allows one to apply for multiple recruitments.

The implementation of the Common Eligibility Test will reduce the number of separate preliminary examinations.

This saves both time and cost for candidates.

It speeds up the recruitment process.

What subjects will be covered in the CET?

The Common Eligibility Test includes questions related to general knowledge, reasoning, mathematics, language, and computer science. This exam is expected to be conducted annually.
