According to a post on X by tipster Yogesh Brar, the Poco M8x 5G could start at ₹20,000 in India. For context, the base variant of the Poco M8 5G (6GB RAM and 128GB storage) launched at ₹18,999, while the starting price for the Poco M8 Power 5G (6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant) was set at ₹24,999.

The tipster claims that the upcoming Poco M8x 5G handset may feature a 6.9-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC. The Poco M8x 5G is also rumoured to come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It may also offer support for expandable storage.

The Poco M8x 5G could feature a 6,000mAh battery with support for 33W wired fast charging. Additionally, the handset will run on HyperOS 3, based on Android 16.

A dedicated microsite for the handset reveals that sales of the Poco M8x 5G will commence via Flipkart. Based on the teaser, the upcoming phone may sport a textured flat rear panel and a square-shaped camera module in the top-left corner.

The Poco M8x 5G has been spotted in a green finish, with gold accents around the frame and camera island. The power and volume buttons are located on the right side of the frame, while the left side is button-free. We can expect more details about the Poco M8x 5G soon.

The Poco M8 Power 5G smartphone features a 6.9-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process. It offers up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, up to 8GB of virtual RAM, and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

The Poco M8 Power features a 50MP AI dual rear camera setup, while an 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls. It houses an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery. The phone supports 45W fast charging and includes a 45W charger in the box. It also features 22.5W wired reverse charging.
