PM Kisan Update: The Central Government operates the PM Kisan Yojana to provide financial assistance to farmers. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹6,000 annually to farmers. This amount is transferred to their accounts in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each. So far, the government has released 23 instalments, and farmers are now awaiting the 24th instalment.

If you are a beneficiary of the PM Kisan Yojana and are waiting for the 24th instalment but haven’t received the 23rd instalment yet, you might be wondering where to lodge a complaint. Farmers also often wonder if it is possible to receive more than the standard ₹6,000. Additionally, what should be done if the e-KYC process cannot be completed? You can find answers to all these questions in this article.

Where should you complain if the instalment money has not been received?

If the PM Kisan installment amount has not been credited to your account, you can register a complaint by visiting the official PM Kisan portal and clicking on the ‘Help Desk’ section. Alternatively, you can seek assistance by calling the PM Kisan helpline numbers: 155261, 1800-115-526 (toll-free), or 011-23381092 / 011-24300606.
Farmers can also email the full details of their issue to pmkisan-ict@gov.in or pmkisan-funds@gov.in. If the portal or phone does not resolve the issue, you can contact your nearest Agriculture Department office or Tehsil office.

Will the PM Kisan payout increase every year?

Would it be possible to receive more than ₹6,000? For your information, the government currently provides ₹6,000 annually under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This amount is transferred to bank accounts in equal installments of ₹2,000 each. As of now, the scheme provides ₹6,000; the government has not made any official announcement regarding an increase in the installment amount.

What should you do if e-KYC cannot be completed?

If your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card, you can complete the OTP-based e-KYC from the comfort of your home by visiting the official PM Kisan website or mobile app. Alternatively, you can use the Aadhaar Face Authentication app. If you are still unable to complete the e-KYC or face issues doing it online, you can visit a nearby CSC centre to complete the process using biometric authentication.

How to check PM Kisan registration status?

Checking your PM Kisan registration and finding your name on the list is quite simple.
To do this, visit the official PM Kisan website.
Next, go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ section on the homepage.
Click on ‘Beneficiary Status’ or ‘Beneficiary List’.
Select your state, district, block, and village.
Finally, enter your Aadhaar number or registration number to view your name on the list.

How can I get the correct name or bank account details?

If you entered incorrect name or bank account details during PM Kisan registration, you can rectify them. To do this, go to the ‘Farmers Corner’ on the PM Kisan portal and click on the ‘Edit Aadhaar Failure Records’ or ‘Name Correction as per Aadhaar’ option. You can then easily correct your name to match your Aadhaar records.
However, please note that you cannot change your bank account number directly on the website. The government transfers funds via DBT to Aadhaar-seeded bank accounts. To change your bank account or DBT details, you must visit your bank branch and fill out a form for Aadhaar seeding or NPCI mapping; this will update your account. Alternatively, you can submit an application for the correction to your local Lekhpal (revenue official) or agriculture officer.
