Tata Punch EV comes with a permanent magnet synchronous motor and offers two battery pack options – 25 kWh and 35 kWh. The smaller battery gives a claimed range of around 315 km, while the larger battery offers up to 421 km. It supports both regular and fast charging, and the motor produces enough power for city as well as highway drives. The Punch EV is based on Tata’s new acti.ev platform designed specifically for electric vehicles.

This electric SUV delivers a decent real-world range, making it a reliable option for daily use. With the 25 kWh battery, the Punch EV can go around 260–290 km in actual driving conditions, while the 35 kWh version can offer around 370–390 km. Using a 7.2 kW fast charger, the vehicle can be charged in under 3 hours. With a standard home charger, the full charge may take around 9 to 10 hours.

It is available in five variants – Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+.

Tata Punch EV is priced between Rs 10.99 lakh and Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The base Smart variant comes with the smaller battery, while the top Empowered+ trim gets the larger 35 kWh battery. Some dealers are offering benefits like free home chargers or exchange bonuses for early buyers. No official discount is available from the company, but local dealerships may have introductory offers.
