Engine and Powertrain
Mahindra Bolero 2025 is likely to continue with its reliable 1.5-litre mHawk diesel engine. It is expected to generate around 75 bhp power and 210 Nm of torque. The engine will come mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. There are chances that Mahindra may introduce a petrol variant or automatic gearbox for the first time to attract urban buyers and enhance driving comfort in traffic.
Mileage and Efficiency
The Bolero is already known for offering impressive mileage in its segment. The 2025 model is expected to deliver around 16 to 17 kmpl mileage with its diesel engine. With improved engine tuning and weight reduction, Mahindra may try to push the fuel efficiency slightly higher than the outgoing model.
Other Specifications and Features
The new Bolero is expected to come with updated safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, and seatbelt reminders. It may also get an updated digital instrument cluster, a semi-digital MID, and power windows. Connectivity features like Bluetooth-enabled music system and USB charging port might also be included to appeal to young users.
Price and Offer Details
The current Mahindra Bolero is priced between Rs 9.90 lakh to Rs 10.91 lakh (ex-showroom). The 2025 model may see a price hike of Rs 30,000 to Rs 50,000 depending on the variants and features. Mahindra may also launch introductory offers initially to push sales in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.
Look and Design Update
The 2025 Bolero is expected to retain its classic boxy design but with modern styling tweaks. Mahindra may update the front grille, headlamp design with LED DRLs, and redesigned bumpers for a fresh look. The overall shape will still reflect the rugged DNA of Bolero, which makes it a favourite in off-road and rough-road conditions.
Performance and Ride Quality
The upcoming Bolero will aim to improve ride quality and road grip. Suspension setup may be refined for better comfort on rough roads. Mahindra might also enhance the NVH levels to reduce engine noise and vibrations inside the cabin. The SUV is built to handle tough terrains, and this model will continue that legacy with slight upgrades in handling.
