According to the Meteorological Department, rain is expected to continue in western Uttar Pradesh for at least the next 48 hours and in eastern Uttar Pradesh for at least the next 72 hours. According to the Meteorological Department, sporadic rain has been reported in many areas over the last 24 hours.
