DA Hike Update:- A big news is coming out about government employees. The dearness allowance, which is to be increased by the government from July, may be increased soon. Central government employees may be entitled to a 4% increase in dearness allowance, effective from July 2025. The existing DA will increase from 55% to 59%. The DA hike is likely to be announced by the government soon. This increase is expected to be announced in August. However, it has not been officially confirmed by the central government.
Currently, the dearness allowance for central government employees is 55%.
The final decision on the DA hike depends on the AICPI-IW data of June 2025. This data will be released in August.
If there is a 3 per cent increase, then the DA of central employees will increase to 58%.
If there is a 4% increase, it will rise to 59%.
According to media reports, the 8th Pay Commission is expected to be implemented by 2027.
Central employees can get many more hikes in dearness allowance.
