The government has released the 20th instalment on August 2, and the 21st can be released within 3 to 4 months.
Usually, every four months, an instalment of ₹ 2,000 is sent directly to the bank account of the farmers.
Only those whose e-KYC is updated will get the benefit of the 21st installment.
It is also essential that the land records are correct, and farmers must have a Kisan Card.
According to the new government rule, no farmer will be able to avail this benefit without a Kisan ID.
The government has made this change to prevent fraud.
To get a Kisan ID, you can go to your nearest agriculture office or Common Service Centre and get registered.
For this, documents such as the Aadhaar card, land documents, and bank details will be required.
