The government is going to announce a 3% increase in dearness allowance for July 2025 very soon.
After the increase in the DA Hike, the current dearness allowance will increase from 55% to 58%.
Employees and pensioners will get the revised amount by October.
The central government revises the dearness allowance twice a year. It is revised in January and July.
The DA revision in July will be the last for the Seventh Pay Commission.
It has not been officially announced yet how much the government will increase the DA. If there is a 3% increase in DA, it will increase from 55% to 58%.
DA increase has a direct impact on the total salary of the employees.
