The teasers of the series have also been released on the official website, Flipkart and Amazon. These listings suggest that the brand Reno 16 series will be introduced in India very soon.
Oppo Reno 16 series teased in India
Reports have suggested that the Oppo Reno 16 lineup could include several models. Reno 16c, Reno 16F, Reno 16 FS, Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16 Pro Mini in this series. However, it seems that not all of these models will be available in every market. Talking about India, the brand may initially launch the Reno 16 and the Reno 16c.
Oppo India has not confirmed it in India yet. However, the brand’s global division has already revealed that the Reno 16 series will be announced on June 26 in Spain and Thailand.
According to the official teaser shared by OPPO, there will be three phones in the lineup: Reno 16, Reno 16 Pro, and Reno 16F.
The phones are releasing in Malaysia and Indonesia, and pre-orders are already live in both markets. The Reno 16 could come in 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB variants, and with Pop White and Twilight Violet colour options. Whereas the Reno 16 Pro comes in a single 12GB + 512GB variant with two colour options: Pop White and Starlight Black.
The Reno 16F will come in two variants: 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB. Dream Purple, Pop White, and Twilight Violet colour options are available on this handset.
Oppo Reno 16: Expected Features
This series has already been introduced in the Chinese market. The Reno 16 smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Super processor; however, the global variant might launch with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
The global version of the Reno 16 is expected to sport a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In terms of optics, the phone may feature a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP telephoto shooter with 3.5x optical zoom, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 50MP front-facing camera for selfies. It is also likely to pack a large 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
