Design & Build: Sleek and Lightweight
The S1 Air retains Ola’s signature modern design but with a lighter frame. The matte finish, compact body, and ergonomic seating make it ideal for city rides. Despite being budget-friendly, it doesn’t compromise on aesthetics.
Performance: Zippy & Efficient
Powered by a 4.5 kW motor, the S1 Air delivers a top speed of 90 km/h. The acceleration is smooth, making it perfect for stop-and-go traffic. With three riding modes (Eco, Normal, Sport), riders can balance speed and battery efficiency.
Battery & Range: Improved Efficiency
The 3 kWh battery offers a true range of 125 km per charge (IDC). While real-world conditions may vary, Ola’s fast-charging tech ensures 50% charge in just 30 minutes—a major plus for daily commuters.
Features: Tech-Savvy Yet Simple
Unlike the premium S1 Pro, the Air model focuses on essentials. It includes a digital speedometer, LED lighting, and basic connectivity via the Ola app. No fancy touchscreen, but it gets the job done.
Ride Comfort: Balanced for City Use
The suspension setup handles bumps well, and the seat provides decent comfort for short to medium rides. The lightweight design (99 kg) makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces.
Safety: Reliable Braking & Stability
Drum brakes (front and rear) ensure adequate stopping power, while the tubeless tires enhance grip. However, ABS is missing, which might concern some buyers.
Price & Competition: Best Value for Money?
Priced at around ₹1.10 lakh (ex-showroom), the S1 Air undercuts rivals like the Ather 450S. If range and affordability are priorities, this scooter is a strong contender.
Fact Check: Is the Ola S1 Air 2025 Worth It?
Pros: Affordable, decent range, fast charging, lightweight.
Cons: No ABS, basic features compared to premium models.
Verdict: A solid choice for budget-conscious buyers seeking a reliable electric scooter.
