Rules Changing From November 1, 2026: October is coming to an end, and November is about to begin. At the start of each month, the government typically makes changes to national regulations concerning the economy and transportation. This time, too, several significant changes are coming. In Delhi, in particular, important updates affecting the daily lives of the general public will come into effect on November 1, 2026.

Specifically, a new system—involving a third-party application—is being introduced to curb fraudulent calls. Additionally, to control pollution in the national capital, the entry of non-BS6 vehicles will be prohibited, and new prices for LPG cylinders will be announced for the month of November.

Ban on Non-BS6 Vehicles in Delhi
To tackle pollution in the national capital, a special regulation is being implemented from November 1 to January 31. Under this rule, the entry of non-BS6 vehicles will be restricted. During this period, only vehicles meeting BS6 emission standards, electric vehicles, or CNG-powered vehicles will be permitted on the roads. Violating this rule will result in a heavy fine.

Curbing Fraudulent Calls
Many people are currently troubled by fraudulent and spam calls. To address this issue, the government has taken a proactive step: starting November 1, a ‘Caller ID’ feature will be introduced across 4G and 5G networks. This will enable the identification of unknown callers, eliminating the need for mobile users to rely on third-party applications like Truecaller.

Changes in Prices for LPG Cylinders, CNG, and PNG
Prices for LPG, CNG, and PNG are adjusted on a monthly basis. Consequently, on November 1, state-run oil companies may announce new prices for both domestic and commercial LPG cylinders. Along with this, new prices for aviation fuel may be announced, and there could also be changes to the prices of CNG and PNG. This will increase the financial burden on people.
