Nothing Phone (4b): So basically, phones with a clear back and a big battery tend to give off that premium vibe, right? And still, Nothing Phone (4b) is one of the rare ones that actually manages both, more or less. On Flipkart, the White 256GB + 8GB model costs ₹40,999, down from an MRP of ₹59,999, and you also get that top discount of the sale-type line. If you use the Flipkart Axis Bank card, then the Wow Deal price drops to ₹36,170. So, let’s look at it in detail.

Price and discount on Flipkart

Flipkart says it’s a 32% discount vs. the MRP of ₹59,999. But near checkout, they tack on a ₹299 Protect Promise Fee, so don’t treat the headline number like it’s the final total. For reference, the 256GB variant first came to India around July 2026 at ₹38,999, so now it looks like it’s maybe about ₹2,000 higher than launch pricing. The 128GB model was listed at ₹34,999.

Bank offers and Wow Deal price

The biggest bank-related offer shown is ₹4,829 off via the Flipkart Axis Bank Credit Card, plus cashback is mentioned too, though it can be the usual delayed thing, you know, “after some time”. After applying the coupon, the Wow Deal becomes ₹36,170. Cashback usually lands after delivery, so keep that in mind instead of assuming it’ll be instant.

EMI and other payment options

If you’re doing EMI, the HDFC Bank credit card route shows ₹6,563 per month for 6 months, and it also mentions ₹3,500 off on the card. Flipkart’s own EMI plan lists ₹7,278 per month for 6 months. You’ll also see ICICI Bank and Bajaj Finance options on the page, but the exact numbers are difficult to read—kinda cut off in the screenshot. The “Buy with EMI” option starts at ₹14,032 per month.

Display and design

There’s a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and peak brightness around 2,000 nits. Design-wise, it’s mostly that transparent Glyph-style look, so you can see the internal bits through the back pretty quickly. Phone thickness is 8.6mm, and it carries an IP64 rating for dust and water, which honestly feels a bit less confident than what some rivals do in this price band.

Performance and software

Internally, it runs on Snapdragon 6 Gen 4, with 8GB RAM and 256GB UFS 2.2 storage. Out of the box, it runs Nothing OS 4.1 based on Android 16, and you also get Nothing Essential AI tools. Day to day it feels smooth; casual gaming works just fine, but for marathon-heavy sessions, it doesn’t exactly feel like it’s engineered for that kind of all-day grind.

Camera

The back camera includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, plus an 8MP ultra-wide. The main sensor is listed with an f/1.8 aperture. For selfies you get a 16MP front camera. Since there’s no telephoto lens, the camera is more “everyday solid” than “zoom hero”, so zoomed shots aren’t the main selling point.

Battery and charging

The battery is 6,000 mAh, and it’s the biggest. Nothing has offered in India so far (at least as per their lineup). Charging is 33W wired. Nothing claims you can hit 50% in about 27 minutes and a full charge in roughly 80 minutes. There’s also 7.5W reverse charging, which is helpful during small emergencies when someone else’s phone is at low battery or in similar situations.

Verdict

At ₹40,999, the 256GB option looks like it’s above the original launch pricing, so the “discount” may not feel as big as it first sounds. The Wow Deal price of ₹36,170 feels closer to a sensible comparison, and with exchange, it could drop even more. If you want a transparent-back phone, a large battery, and clean-ish software vibes, this looks like a decent choice. But if telephoto zoom is a dealbreaker for you, or you’re mainly hunting raw chip performance first, then it’s better to compare with other phones in the same range. Also just double-check the final payable amount on Flipkart before you actually tap buy.
