Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has increased the DA of those on the sixth pay scale from 246% to 252%.

Lakhs of employees and pensioners will now get additional benefits ranging from Rs 1,200 to Rs 2,200 per month.

According to a report by the news agency ANI, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has decided to increase the current rate of dearness allowance from 455% to 466% from January 1, 2025, for employees of public bodies and undertakings receiving a salary in the fifth central pay scale.

Approval has been given to increase the current rate of dearness allowance from 246% to 252% from January 01, 2025, for the employees of public bodies and undertakings receiving a salary in the sixth central pay scale.

In Uttarakhand, the DA has been increased by 11% for employees based on the Fifth Pay Commission.

Now, if the basic salary of a government employee is Rs 20,000, then he will get a benefit of about Rs 2,200 at the rate of 11%.
