How long will you be able to file an objection?
According to the notification issued by the NTA, if a student has any doubt on any question or answer given in the answer key, he can challenge it online. This objection window will be open from June 25 to June 28, 2026. There will be no opportunity to file an objection after the objection window closes.
Students will have to pay a non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 for each challenged question. After reviewing all the objections, the final answer key and result will be declared.
What is the ‘bonus points’ rule?
As per NTA rules, if more than one correct option for a question is found, or a question is proved wrong, then 4 bonus marks will be given to all students who attempted that question. This rule comes as quite a relief to students who are only a few marks from the cut-off.
If a candidate faces any problem making an objection, they can contact NTA at 011-40759000 or 011-69227700.
