The company has launched a new version of the Motorola Signature, introducing it to the market as the Signature 27. The Motorola Signature 27 was unveiled on Tuesday at the Snapdragon Summit 2026. This handset is the second model in the brand’s Signature series, following the launch of the original Motorola Signature. This new flagship is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset and features a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera.

Motorola Signature 27 Availability and Colour Options
Motorola has not yet announced the price or sale date for the Signature 27. However, the company has confirmed that the smartphone will launch in the global market later this year. The Motorola Signature 27 will be available in two colour options: Pantone Coal Smoke and Pantone Capulet Green.

Motorola Signature 27 Features and Specifications
The Motorola Signature 27 is equipped with Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, which was introduced alongside the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 at the Snapdragon Summit 2026. According to the company, it offers enhanced on-device AI capabilities, improved camera performance, better gaming responsiveness, and faster download speeds.

This flagship phone also features Motorola’s ArcticMesh cooling system. Motorola states that the vapour chamber is 40 per cent larger than that of the previous generation.

In terms of the camera, the Signature 27 sports a 50-megapixel Sony LYTIA 910 main camera and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. Motorola is also introducing its ‘Video Enhancement Engine’, which uses AI to analyse the scene before and during recording, adjusting colour tones in real-time. The AI ​​features also include Google’s Gemini.

The Signature 27 will support Gemini Omni. Users can also utilise Google’s Lyria to create music and soundtracks.

Motorola has promised seven years of OS upgrades for the Signature 27. The smartphone is expected to launch with Android 17. The Signature 27 is also the first Motorola smartphone to feature B&O audio; this branding appears on the handset’s rear panel. The company has not yet disclosed details regarding the display, battery capacity, charging speed, RAM, or storage.
