MP Kisan Yojana 2026: Both the state and central governments implement welfare schemes for farmers. Through the central government’s ‘PM Kisan’ scheme, farmers receive financial assistance of ₹6,000 annually. Additionally, the state government operates its own schemes to provide further financial support. This assistance helps farmers secure a larger total sum, which helps cover agricultural expenses.
In Madhya Pradesh, the government supports farmers through the PM Kisan scheme and also provides benefits under the ‘Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana’. By combining these two schemes, farmers receive a total annual financial aid of ₹12,000. Farmers can use these funds to meet their agricultural needs, such as purchasing essential inputs, including fertilisers and seeds.

PM Kisan Yojana Benefits
The PM Kisan scheme is administered by the central government. Under this initiative, eligible farmers receive ₹6,000 annually. This amount is disbursed in three installments throughout the year, with ₹2,000 transferred directly into the farmers’ bank accounts in each installment. This process is known as DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer).
Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana
Under the Madhya Pradesh government’s ‘Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana’, eligible farmers receive an additional ₹6,000 in annual financial assistance, provided by the state government.
Total Financial Assistance for Farmers
Combined, these two schemes offer farmers a total of ₹12,000 per year—comprising ₹6,000 from the PM Kisan Yojana and ₹6,000 from the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojana. To date, more than 8.1 million (81 lakh) farmers in Madhya Pradesh have benefited from this state-run scheme.
Important steps for farmers
If an eligible farmer wishes to avail the benefits of this scheme, they should keep their bank account, Aadhaar, and other necessary documents related to the scheme ready. Additionally, they must ensure that they complete the e-KYC and other required procedures for the PM Kisan scheme.
