  1. Seviyan gets cooked quickly. In such a situation, do not cook them too much, otherwise they can become doughy.
  2. Make sure to thicken the milk a little; this improves the taste and texture of the kheer.

  4. Make sure to use cardamom and saffron. This gives the traditional aroma and taste to the kheer.

Fry the vermicelli

First of all, heat ghee in a pan and add vermicelli to it and fry it on a low flame till it turns golden. After this, boil milk in a vessel. When the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame and let the milk cook till it thickens a little.
