What is the scheme
The 19th installment of PM Kisan Yojana will be released by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on 24 February 2025. Under the 19th installment, funds will be transferred to the bank accounts of beneficiary farmers through DBT. Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹ 6000 per year is provided to the beneficiary farmers in 3 installments.
In such a situation, farmers can check their name or payment status online in the beneficiary list by visiting the official portal of PM Kisan Yojana. The beneficiary whose name is in the beneficiary list will also be given the benefit of the 19th installment under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
Benefits available under PM Kisan 19th installment
Under PM Kisan 19th installment, financial assistance of Rs 2 thousand will be transferred through DBT. Under this scheme, only the farmers coming in the PM Kisan beneficiary list will be given the benefit of the 19th installment.
Apart from this, the beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan Yojana are given the benefit of different government schemes run by the central and state government. Apart from the facility of KCC loan, additional subsidy is provided to the beneficiary farmers on the purchase of agricultural equipment and fertilizer seeds at a low price.
E-KYC required
To avail the benefit of the 19th installment under PM Kisan Yojana, it is necessary for the farmers to get PM Kisan e-KYC verification done. Farmers will be able to get the benefit of the 19th installment only after getting e-KYC verification done. In such a situation, farmers can go to the official portal of PM Kisan Yojana online from home and get OTP based e KYC, face authentication based or biometric based e KYC updated.
