Donald Trump Threatens Tariffs on Countries Selling Oil to Cuba, Calls it a Threat to US

New Delhi: It’s becoming increasingly difficult to predict what the US President will say next. He often seems to be challenging even his allies. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump made a major statement, declaring that Cuba poses an unusual and serious threat to the United States.

He also declared a national emergency in the country due to the threat posed by the Cuban government. Because of this, he has ordered the implementation of a new tariff system. Under this system, additional tariffs can be imposed on countries that supply oil to Cuba.

In an executive order signed at the White House, Trump stated that the policies and actions of the Cuban government pose a threat to US national security and foreign policy. Therefore, it has become necessary to take emergency measures under existing laws.
