CBSE Admit Card 2026: CBSE is expected to release the admit cards for regular students in the coming days. Class 10 and Class 12 students are eagerly awaiting their results. According to media reports, the hall tickets for regular students may be released very soon. Like last year, CBSE usually releases the hall tickets approximately five to six days before the start of the exams.
The CBSE board has already released the admit cards for private candidates for the CBSE Board Exam 2026. The CBSE Class 10 and Class 12 examinations are scheduled to begin on February 17, 2026. Candidates appearing for the CBSE board exams will be required to carry their admit cards every day of the examination. If a student forgets to carry their admit card, they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

CBSE Admit Card 2026: How to Download Online
First, go to the official CBSE website, cbse.gov.in
Click on the link for CBSE Class 10 or Class 12 Admit Card 2026.
Enter the required login details.
The CBSE Board Exam 2026 admit card will appear on the screen.
Download the admit card and save it for future use, and also take a printout.
Board Exams to begin from February 17
The Class 10 board exams will be conducted from February 17 to March 11, 2026. The Class 12 exams will be held from February 17 to April 10, 2026. The board exams will be conducted in a single shift. However, the timing may vary depending on the paper. For some subjects, the exam timing will be from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. For other subjects, the timing will be from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM.
CBSE has also issued instructions to schools regarding printing the admit cards with clear printing and the school’s seal and signature. Admit cards without these details will be considered invalid. To avoid any problems on the day of the exam, candidates must carefully check the reporting time, gate closing time, and subject code mentioned on their admit card. Carrying electronic devices, study materials, and other unauthorised items inside the examination centres is strictly prohibited.
