Candidates who appear once in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) conducted by UPSSSC will now be eligible to fill the form for recruitment for up to three years. This benefit will be available to those appearing in the PET to be conducted in the year 2025 or thereafter.

What is the PET exam pattern?

The question paper of this Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2025 to be conducted by UPSSSC consists of 100 multiple-choice questions, which will be from subjects like General Knowledge, Mathematics, General Hindi, General English, Logical Ability, Indian Constitution, Indian History, Geography, Indian Economy, Science, etc. The time allotted for this exam is 2 hours.

The point to note for the candidate is that negative marking will be done in this exam, according to which, 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
