UP Board Exam: The high school and intermediate examinations of the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education were successfully completed on Wednesday. This time, due to the strictness taken to prevent cheating in the examination, the activities of the cheating mafia were curbed. Due to the strictness of the board, most of the cases were caught. 3.5 lakh students left the examination. About 113 FIRs were registered during the examination, out of which 22 cases have been registered by the STF.

Live monitoring of the examination

For 24×7 online monitoring of examination centers and strong rooms, more than 2.91 lakh CCTV cameras with voice recorders were installed in 1.33 lakh rooms and premises at 8140 examination centers. Apart from this, to prevent the collusion of cheating mafia and school administration, the examination was live monitored through 10,000 high-resolution CCTV cameras from the State Control Room in Lucknow.

3.5 lakh students skipped the exam

This time 54,32,519 candidates had registered for UP Board Exam 2025, out of which 27,41,674 high school and 26,90,845 intermediate students appeared. Due to strict monitoring and prevention of cheating, this time about 3.5 lakh candidates did not appear in the examination.
