SSC MTS & Havildar 2025 Recruitment : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has started the recruitment process for Multi Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havildar posts of 2025. This time the commission has announced a total of 1075 vacancies for Havildar. The vacancies for MTS posts have not been announced at the moment, but it is expected that its information will also be released soon.
Application dates and website
The application process has started on the official portal ssc.gov.in. Candidates can fill the online form from June 26 and its last date has been fixed as July 24, 2025. The last date for depositing the fee has been kept as July 25. At the same time, the commission has also provided a correction window from July 29 to July 31 to correct the mistake in the application form.
Qualification and Required Educational Qualification
Candidates applying in this recruitment must have a certificate of passing 10th from a board recognized by the Government of India. Apart from this, no other special degree is required. Only 10th pass candidates will be considered eligible for this recruitment.
Age limit and relaxation
The age of those applying for the post of Havildar should be between 18 to 27 years, while for the post of MTS, age between 18 to 25 years will be valid. Reserved categories will be given relaxation as per government rules. Candidates of SC and ST category will be given relaxation of 5 years in maximum age and OBC category will be given relaxation of 3 years.
Fee details
All general and unreserved category candidates will have to pay a fee of ₹ 100 to apply for these posts. While female candidates as well as candidates of Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Divyang and other reserved categories are exempted from fees. Fee can be paid only through online mode.
Selection process information
In this recruitment, Computer Based Test (CBT) will be conducted first in the selection process. After the examination for the post of Havildar, there will also be a physical test i.e. physical efficiency and physical standard test. Only written examination will be taken for the post of MTS. In the exam, questions related to general knowledge, mathematics, reasoning and English language will be asked, which will be multiple choice.
