SSC CHSL 2025 Recruitment Begins : Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for Combined Higher Secondary Level (10+2) Examination 2025. Under this recruitment process, thousands of posts will be appointed and the process of online application has been started for this. Interested candidates can apply by visiting the commission’s website.
From when to when can you fill the form
Applications for SSC CHSL have started from 23 June 2025 and the last date has been fixed as 18 July 2025. Candidates who want to deposit the application fee through online mode will have time till 19 July. If any candidate has to correct any mistake in his form, then the commission will give a chance for correction on 23 and 24 July.
The first phase examination i.e. Tier-1 will be conducted from 8 to 18 September 2025. At the same time, Tier-2 examination is likely in February or March 2026.
How many posts will be recruited
This recruitment process has been started to fill a total of 3131 posts this year. It includes posts like Lower Division Clerk (LDC), Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA), Postal Assistant (PA), Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operator (DEO). Candidates will be appointed in various central government ministries and departments.
Who can apply
Candidates who want to apply for this recruitment should have a certificate of passing 12th from a recognized board. Also, their age should be minimum 18 years and maximum 27 years as on 1st August 2025. Reserved categories will be given relaxation in maximum age as per rules.
How to fill the form
Candidates who want to apply, first have to visit the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in. By going to the website, go to the “Apply” section and click on the link of SSC CHSL 2025.
If you have never registered on the SSC website before, then first it will be necessary to do One Time Registration (OTR) from the option “New User? Register Now”. After registration, you can fill the application form by logging in through username and password.
After filling all the required information, the application fee has to be deposited and the form has to be submitted. Finally, it will be useful to keep a copy of the filled application form safe.
How much will the fee be
Candidates of General, OBC and EWS category will have to pay a fee of ₹ 100 along with the application. Whereas Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Divyang (PwBD), Ex-Servicemen (ESM) and all female candidates do not have to pay any kind of fee. These categories can apply for free.
