RRB Vacancy 2025: The RRB Vacancy 2025 has generated buzz among applicants since the Railway Recruitment Board is set to announce openings for two significant recruitments. With 5620 posts, this opening comprises posts under NTPC UG Level and Junior Engineer (JE) categories. Eligibility Criteria
For NTPC UG Level positions, the candidates should have passed 12th with at least 50% marks. But for the SC, ST, and PwD categories, the condition of 50% mark is waived off, and they just need to be 12th pass. The minimum age for NTPC posts is 18 years, and the maximum is 30 years as of January 1, 2026. For the RRB Vacancy 2025 JE posts, candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related disciplines. The age limit for JE positions is 18 to 33 years, with relaxation for reserved categories as per government norms.
Application Process
The applicants can apply for NTPC UG Level recruitment between October 28 and November 27, 2025, on the official portal rrbapply.gov.in. The application for JE recruitment will be open between October 31 and November 30, 2025. Applicants need to provide correct details, upload documents, and pay the fee online. ₹500 is the fee for General applicants out of which ₹400 is refunded after sitting in the examination. For SC, ST, EWS, women, PwD, and ex-servicemen candidates, the payment is ₹250, which will be refunded after attending the exam.
Selection Process
RRB Vacancy 2025 shall be held in two phases of Computer-Based Tests (CBT 1 and CBT 2). For clerical positions such as Junior Clerk and Accounts Clerk, a typing proficiency test will also be conducted. One-third mark will be deducted for each incorrect response in the CBT. Candidates qualifying for the CBT 1 will be shortlisted 15 times the number of vacancies for CBT 2, followed by document verification and a medical examination.
