A total of 841 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment campaign. The distribution of posts is as follows:
- Assistant Engineer (AE): 81 posts
- Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Specialist: 410 posts
- Assistant Administrative Officer (AAO) Generalist: 350 posts

For AE posts, the applicant must have a degree in BE/B.Tech (Civil or Electrical Engineering) from a recognised university or institute recognised by AICTE.
The qualification for an AAO Specialist is prescribed differently according to the post, which candidates have to see in the official notification.
For an AAO Generalist, a graduation degree from any recognised university is mandatory.

The minimum age of the candidates to apply for this recruitment has been kept at 21 years. The maximum age can be from 30 to 32 years for the general category. Age will be calculated as on 1st August 2025. Candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/EWS) and other eligible categories will be given relaxation in the maximum age limit as per government rules.
