Indian Railway Recruitment 2025: If you are preparing for a government job in Indian Railways, then now your luck is going to shine. The Railway Board is all set to expand its workforce. It is working on a plan to give more appointments from the financial year 2025-26. It has also been officially announced.
In a press release from the Ministry of Railways, it was announced that the Railway Recruitment Board has conducted computer-based examinations for more than 1.86 crore candidates for seven different notifications with 55,197 vacancies from November 2024 till now. More than 50 thousand candidates will get appointments
A large number of appointments will be given to the youth by the RRB. If the press release is to be believed, the work of giving appointments to more than 50000 candidates can be done in the financial year 2025-26. In this, more than 9000 appointments have been issued by the RRB in the first quarter of the financial year.
For transparency in recruitment by Indian Railways, the ministry has started e-KYC-based Aadhaar authentication. It has also achieved more than 95 per cent success in authenticating the identity of the candidates.
Women will not have to go far for the exam.m
According to a PTI report, the Railway Recruitment Board is taking steps very promptly to bring transparency in the examination and to curb the cheaters. It is committed to conducting a cheat-free examination through electronic devices. RRB has also decided to give special priority to women and the Divyangjans.
The examination centres of all these candidates will be near the nearest place. According to the Railway Recruitment Board, 12 notifications have been issued covering 1,08,324 vacancies. The recruitment campaign has been released based on the annual calendar. Its main goal will be to overcome the shortage of employees in all departments.
