A few days ago, under the chairmanship of the Chief Secretary of the state, a review was done to fill the posts in the departments of Food and Consumer Protection, Panchayati Raj, Rural Development, Water Resources, Agriculture, Minor Water Resources, Animal and Fisheries Resources, Cooperation, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Sugarcane Industry and Regional Offices of the Government.
The General Administration Department had sought information about the vacant posts from all the departments. So that the work of filling as many posts as possible can be done soon. While clearing the roster, many departments have sent the list of vacancies to the commissions.
Recruitment will be done for 11,129 posts of Office Head in the Regional Administration.
A total of 11129 posts of Office Head are vacant in the local administration of Bihar state. The General Administration Department has also sought information about these vacant posts. Soo,n its requisition will be sent to the concerned selection commission. A total of 110778 posts of Office Heahave beenre approved in the regional administration under Saat Nischay Part-2 in the state. Currently, 99649 officers are posted in the post of Office Head.

Last year, a total of 165 stenographers were appointed based on the recommendation of the Bihar Staff Selection Commission. Even after this, the posts of stenographers remained vacant.
On May 5, the General Administration Department has requested the Additional Chief Secretary of all departments, Secretary, Head of Department, Divisional Commissioner, Secretary of Commissions and Authorities, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Police Headquarters, Bipad, and Secretary of all Tribunals and Secretary Bihar Secretariat to send the number of vacant posts of Stenographer Service. Soon, recruitment notifications for these posts will be issued.
