Maharashtra Deputy CM: Maharashtra Deputy CM and Finance Minister Ajit Pawar today presented the 11th budget of the state in the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. While presenting the budget, Ajit Pawar thanked PM Modi. Ajit Pawar said that I express my gratitude to the PM and the central government for the relief given by the Center to the state in its budget. Target set for construction of roads

After this, the Finance Minister announced that Rs 5670 crore was sanctioned for the construction of 6500 km long road in the third phase of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. Of these, 3785 km work has already been completed. In the financial year 2025-26, the target is now to build 1500 km long roads. Further, the Finance Minister talked about the creation of new jobs.

Target of 16 lakh jobs

Ajit Pawar said that the state is number one in the country in terms of foreign direct investment. In Davos, the state has signed agreements worth Rs 15.75 lakh crore with 56 companies, which will provide new employment opportunities to 16 lakh people. He further said that Maharashtra contributes 15.4 percent to the country’s total GDP.

He further said that Maharashtra will become a leader in fulfilling PM Modi’s dream of a developed India by 2047. We will realize CM Devendra Fadnavis’ vision of ‘developed India’ and the state will become number one in this direction.
