AIIMS NORCET: If you are dreaming of becoming a nursing officer in AIIMS, then you have a golden opportunity to apply. All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has started the registration process for Nursing Officer Recruitment General Eligibility Test (NORCET 8 – 2024).
Interested candidates
can apply by visiting aiimsexams.ac.in, but keep in mind that the last date for application is 17 March 2025 till 5:00 PM only.
To appear in this exam, the candidate must have a BSc (Hons) Nursing / BSc Nursing degree from a recognized institute or a BSc (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic BSc Nursing degree. Apart from this, the candidate must be registered as a nurse and midwife with the State / Indian Nursing Council. To apply, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 30 years, while reserved categories will get relaxation as per the rules.
The NORCET 8 exam will be conducted in two stages – preliminary examination and main examination. The preliminary examination will have 100 questions, which will be related to nursing and non-nursing subjects, while the main examination will be in CBT mode, in which 160 questions will be asked in 4 sections.
If we talk about the fees, then the candidates of General and OBC category will have to pay Rs 3000, while SC, ST and EWS candidates will have to pay Rs 2400 as application fee. The examination fee can be paid through debit card, credit card, net banking or e-challan.
The application process is very easy. First of all, the candidate has to visit the website aiimsexams.ac.in and go to the “Latest Recruitment” section and click on the link of AIIMS NORCET 2025. After this, complete the online application form by filling the required information, submit the form after paying the fee and keep a copy safe for future reference.
The exam dates have also been announced – NORCET 8th exam (Phase I) will be held on 12th April 2025, while Phase II exam will be held on 2nd May 2025. Admit cards will be issued before the exam and the results will also be declared soon. If you have not applied yet, do it soon as the last date is near!
