Looking at the trend of the last few years, Apple holds the launch event in September itself. Although the company has not yet made any official announcement of this year’s event, millions of Apple fans are eagerly waiting for this new series. In fact, every year the new iPhone comes with something that makes it different from the previous model. And this time, there are a lot of upgrades.
Think about it, if you get an iPhone 18 Pro, what will be the first thing you check in it? Design? Camera? And what about his performance? In fact, to find the answer to this question, we have brought to you every big thing related to iPhone 18 Pro and 18 Series. Over the past few months, there have been several leaks and reports making various claims about the design, display, camera, processor, and price of the new series. Of course, Apple has not officially confirmed anything yet, but from these leaks, a lot can be guessed about what the upcoming iPhone can be.
In this article, we will tell you what can be new in the iPhone 18 Pro, what its possible price will be, and whether it will be better than the iPhone 17 Pro. So let’s know about it.
The discussion of Apple’s new iPhone every year is not limited to just tech lovers. Whether it’s the stock market, Apple’s supply chain, or the millions of people shopping in India – the new iPhone means new technology, new prices, and new possibilities. In 2026, when there is talk of 2nm processors, better cameras and new colors, it is not possible to ignore it. If you are also planning to buy a new iPhone, it is important for you to know what changes can happen in the coming months and whether you should wait or not.
The design and color: What is going to change?
The first thing that comes to mind when you look at any smartphone is its design. And when it comes to Apple, there is something new in the design every year. The same can be seen this time too. According to the leaked report, Apple may make some changes in the design of the iPhone 18 Pro. Specifically, the placement of the camera and LED lights is expected to change. For the last two years, the company has been working on changing the design of the camera, and this time too, something new can be seen in this direction.
Now let’s talk about colors. We all know that every year Apple brings new colors for its iPhones. The same could happen this time too. According to leaks, the company is testing several new colour options. These can include dark cherry, light blue, dark gray and silver finish. The special thing is that this time instead of Cosmic Orange, Dark Cherry can be introduced. Dark cherry will be a dark red-burgundy color, which can look extremely spectacular. Although it is to be noted that these are just leaks, Apple has not shared any information about this yet.
Display: What’s new?
There has always been a lot of discussion about the display of the iPhone. And this time too, there is talk of some major upgrades related to it. According to reports, the display size of the iPhone 18 Pro may remain the same as the iPhone 17 Pro launched last year. But the quality of the display can be significantly improved.
In fact, this time Apple can use the new LTPO Plus OLED panel in its Pro series. It’s very technical. According to reports, this new panel will result in better power saving and better performance. That is, your phone will run more and the screen experience will also be better. In the LTPO Plus OLED panel, the refresh rate will be better controlled, which will reduce battery consumption. If this upgrade comes, it will be very beneficial for those who use the phone more.
Processor: Expecting a strong performance
Now let’s talk about the heart of the iPhone 18 Pro – that is, its processor. Every year, Apple introduces a new and powerful processor in its iPhones. The same is expected to happen this time too. Apple iPhone 18 Pro series is expected to be powered by the next-generation A20 Pro chipset.
The special thing about this chipset is that it can be made on the 2nm process. That is, this chipset will be much smaller and more powerful. Reports claim that this processor will be 15 percent faster than the iPhone 17 Pro and will give about 30 percent better efficiency. This means that your phone will work faster and the battery will also run more.
However, one thing has to be noted here. The technology of 2nm processor is very new and it is very challenging to bring it to the commercial level. If Apple really comes up with a 2nm processor, it will be a big leap. But for this, Apple will also have to make a lot of changes in its supply chain and manufacturing process. And as we all know, Apple often takes a little time to adapt to new technology so that it is perfect.
Camera: I’m hoping for better photography
The iPhone’s camera has always been its biggest feature. And this time also there is talk of a big upgrade in the camera. According to the leaks, the iPhone 18 Pro could see better camera sensors. The special thing is that a variable aperture system can be given with the primary camera.
Now what is this variable aperture system? To put it simply, it lets you control how much light should go into the camera. That is, you will be able to manually decide how much light should be in the photo. The biggest advantage of this is low-light photography. If you take photos at night or in low light, then this feature can get much better photos. However, it should be noted that this feature may only come in the Pro model, not the standard iPhone 18.
Price: What is the price of the iPhone 18 Pro?
Now let’s come to the most important question – the price of iPhone 18 Pro. Every year there is a lot of discussion about the price of iPhone and this time too it is the same. Several reports have claimed that this time Apple may increase the price of the iPhone 18 Pro.
According to leaks, the iPhone 18 Pro could start at ,299 (roughly Rs. 1,22,500) in the US. Last year, the iPhone 17 Pro had a starting price of ,099 (roughly Rs. 1,03,600). That is, it can increase by about 00 (about Rs 18,900).
But keep in mind that these are just estimates. When the iPhone comes to India, its price will be inclusive of customs duty, GST and other taxes. Hence, the price in India is likely to be higher. If you are planning to buy the iPhone 18 Pro, then you have to keep a big budget for this.

Expert / Technical Analysis
If we look at the pattern of the tech industry, Apple makes a major design change every two-three years. The new iPhone 18 Pro is expected to be the successor to the iPhone 17 Pro. Talking about the 2nm processor, this is a technology that companies like TSMC and Samsung are working on. If Apple brings this technology to its iPhone, it will not only make a big difference in performance, but also significantly improve battery life.
However, there’s another aspect to consider. The price of a new iPhone goes up every year. If the iPhone 18 Pro is indeed priced at 299, it could be a big risk for Apple. Because when prices go up, consumers start looking for alternatives. In a market like India, where people are quite price sensitive, the challenge for the iPhone 18 Pro could increase. However, Apple has a strong brand value, which helps in meeting these challenges.
