In the West Bengal House, the opposition party BJP is making big allegations against Mamata Banerjee. Meanwhile, BJP MP Jyotirmoy Singh Mahato has demanded the implementation of AFSPA in four districts of Bengal. He has made this significant demand by writing a letter to the Union Home Ministry.

BJP MP wrote a letter to the Home Ministry

Regarding the discontent arising from the violence in West Bengal, BJP MP Jyotirmoy Singh Mahato has surprised everyone by writing a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah and demanding the implementation of AFSPA in the border districts of West Bengal. Mahato wrote a letter on April 13 saying that incidents of violence against Hindus have taken place in districts like Murshidabad, Malda, Nadia and South 24 Parganas.

He wrote that the Trinamool Congress government of the state has looked the other way due to the politics of appeasement. Meanwhile, he claimed that recently more than 86 houses and shops of Hindus have been looted and destroyed in Murshidabad district.

Along with this, some people, including a person named Hargobindo Das and his son, have been killed. He said that betel plantations were set on fire in Jhaubona village. Such unrest has spread in the border districts.

Were the houses of Hindus demolished?

If the BJP MP is to be believed, he has also been accused of looting and demolishing the houses of Hindus. Mentioning that the mob attacked the houses of Hindus, public property and even police forces. He said that the Kolkata High Court had to intervene and order the deployment of the Central Armed Police Force. This also highlights the state’s administrative failure.
