Monsoon Forecast – A spell of biting cold continues in most parts of North India. Dense fog has prevailed since morning, disrupting traffic. The situation is so bad that the speed of vehicles on the roads has slowed down considerably. The continuously falling temperatures and fog in Punjab, Haryana, and Western Uttar Pradesh have affected normal life.

Dense fog also prevails in the national capital, Delhi,  and the Delhi-NCR region, making conditions difficult. In several parts of South India, the weather remains pleasant due to cloud cover and rain. Rain occurred in some parts of Kerala and Karnataka late last night. The threat of rain still looms over several states.

What will the weather be like in Kerala?

According to the Meteorological Department, there are still chances of rain in Kerala even after the monsoon. The department has predicted bad weather and rain in several parts of the state for the next three days. Heavy rainfall with thunder and lightning is expected.

The IMD (India Meteorological Department) has once again predicted the possibility of inclement weather. A heavy rainfall warning has been issued for Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Karnataka, and the Andaman and Nicobar Islands for the next three days. Besides these, Puducherry, Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh may also experience heavy rainfall. According to the IMD, a warning has been issued for snowfall in the hilly areas and thunderstorms in the plains.

According to the Meteorological Department, a heavy rainfall alert has been issued for Himachal Pradesh during the monsoon season. This year’s monsoon wreaked havoc in Himachal Pradesh, claiming several lives. Now, bad weather is expected to continue for the next three days.
