UP Weather Forecast: Temperatures fell in many parts of Uttar Pradesh due to the night rain. Due to strong winds, trees and poles fell and wires broke, causing power supply cuts. The weather remains bad from east to west UP. The sun is playing hide and seek amidst the clouds’ movement since morning. As the day progresses, bright sunshine shines in many places.

Rain made the weather pleasant in many districts, including Moradabad, Amroha, Saharanpur, and Bijnor. There may be a delay in the arrival of the monsoon here. It is expected that monsoon will knock in UP only after June 20. The Indian Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rainfall accompanied by thunderstorms in various areas of Uttar Pradesh.

Heavy rain alert in these districts

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert for heavy rain and thunderstorms has been issued for all districts of UP on Friday. A warning of heavy rain accompanied by thunderstorms has been issued for Siddharthnagar, Gonda, Balrampur, Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur Kheri, and Sitapur.

Apart from these, heavy rain with hailstorm and strong winds of 50 to 60 kmph are expected in Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Barabanki, Ayodhya and Mathura. Additionally, heavy rain is expected in Banda, Chitrakoot, Agra, Fatehpur, Deoria, Gorakhpur, and Sant Kabir Nagar. Heavy rain is expected in Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Firozabad, Etawah, Auraiya and Pilibhit.

According to the Meteorological Department, rain with hailstorms is expected in Jalaun, Hamirpur, Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, and their surrounding areas. There is a possibility of a hailstorm and gusty winds at a speed of 50 to 60 kmph. IMD has predicted that heavy rains will continue in Varanasi, Sant Ravidas Nagar, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia and Deoria.

Rain is also expected in Gorakhpur, Sant Kabir Nagar, Basti, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Siddharthnagar, Gonda, and Balrampur. Apart from these, there may be rain with lightning in Shravasti, Bahraich and Lakhimpur Kheri. Rain may become a disaster in Banda, Chitrakoot, Unnao, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh, Lakhimpur Kheri, Sonbhadra and Mirzapur.
