New Delhi: After a few days of calm, Bangladesh is once again engulfed in violence. Violence erupted in Dhaka and the surrounding areas following the killing of Inqilab Manch leader and hardline figure Usman Hadi, and the situation has remained volatile ever since. Meanwhile, another shooting incident in Bangladesh has shocked everyone.

Some gunmen launched a deadly attack on a leader of the student-led National Citizen Party (NCP). It has been learned that Motaleb Sikdar, the BNP’s Khulna division head, was shot by several people on Monday.

Fortunately, the NCP leader survived the attack and is currently receiving treatment in a hospital, but his condition remains critical. Following the renewed unrest in Bangladesh, security forces have been deployed in increased numbers.
