New Delhi: Clouds have gathered in many areas of Uttar Pradesh, resulting in rainfall in some parts. Due to the rain, the temperature level dropped across the state, after which people got relief from the heat. A rain alert has been issued in UP till June 27. Movement of clouds has been visible in western UP since morning.

Due to rain with thunderstorms in some places, people have got relief from the scorching heat. The weather has also changed in Uttar Pradesh’s capital, Lucknow, where a rain alert has been issued for the next week. Heavy rains have been predicted in many districts of UP. Not only this, but there is also a possibility of lightning. Below is what the weather will be like where you are.

Heavy rain in many districts of Uttar Pradesh

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for rain accompanied by thunderstorms in Lakhimpur Kheri, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar, and Bijnor. Apart from these, heavy rain is expected in Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Pilibhit, Shahjahanpur, Jalaun, and Hamirpur, where caution has been advised due to the risk of lightning.

Heavy rain may also occur in Mahoba, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi and Prayagraj. There is a possibility of heavy rain in Fatehpur, Sonbhadra, Mirzapur, Chandauli and Varanasi. There is a possibility of rain in Shravasti, Bahraich, Lakhimpur, Kanpur, Saharanpur, Shamli and Muzaffarnagar. There may be torrential rain in all the areas of Baghpat, Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, and Noida.

Here is the highest rainfall

IMD has expressed the possibility of an increase in monsoon rains in UP. On the other hand, over the last 24 hours, the highest rainfall of 136 mm was recorded in Ghorawal, Sonbhadra. Due to 110 mm of rainfall in Shravasti, there was a drop in temperature. An orange alert has been issued for heavy rains in 15 cities of the state between Sunday and Monday.

Along with this, rain is expected in many districts of UP, with winds blowing at speeds of 30 to 40 kilometres per hour. A rain alert has also been issued in Bundelkhand. According to the Meteorological Centre, sunshine prevailed in many districts on Saturday. Weather changes have been visible since Sunday morning.
