UP Monsoon Alert: The mood of the weather has changed once again in Uttar Pradesh. Rain has been seen in many areas since late at night, due to which the temperature level is falling. People have got relief from the scorching heat. The situation has worsened due to rain in most areas of UP since Sunday night.
The water level of rivers, drains and ponds has also increased significantly. In some parts, the threat of flooding has started looming. Most areas of UP are still witnessing rain with the camp of clouds, due to which the situation is going from bad to worse. The weather is expected to worsen in UP for the next few days. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of heavy rain and lightning in 60 districts of UP. You can find the details of the weather in detail below.

Possibility of rain with thunder
According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for rain with thunder and lightning in Banda, Chitrakoot, Kaushambi, Prayagraj, Fatehpur, Pratapgarh and Sonbhadra. Apart from these, an alert has been issued for heavy rain in Mirzapur, Chandauli, Varanasi, Bhadohi and Jaunpur.
A warning of heavy rain has been issued in Ghazipur, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Deoria, Hardoi and Farrukhabad. Heavy rain may also occur in Kannauj, Kanpur Dehat, Kanpur Nagar, Unnao, Lucknow and Rae Bareli. Heavy rain is also expected in Amethi, Sultanpur, Ambedkar Nagar, Saharanpur, Shamli, Muzaffarnagar and Baghpat.
Heavy rain here too
According to the IMD, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Meerut, Ghaziabad, Hapur, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Bulandshahr. Apart from these, a rain alert has been issued in Aligarh, Mathura, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah and Agra.
Heavy rain is also expected in Firozabad, Mainpuri, Etawah, Auraiya, Bijnor and Amroha. Heavy rain may also occur in Moradabad, Rampur, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, Sambhal, Badaun, Jalaun and Hamirpur. A heavy rain alert has been issued in the areas adjoining Mahoba, Jhansi, and Lalitpur.
